A lot of "3D printed mountains" out there are eyeballed by hand in a 3D modelling tool. Ours are built by software we wrote ourselves, from real satellite and elevation data. That difference shows up the moment you hold one.
Built by our own pipeline, not sculpted in Blender
No artist freehands a mountain shape in a 3D modelling tool and hopes it looks right. We built our own software that turns real geographic data into a print-ready model — the same trail, reconstructed the same way, every time. No guesswork, no "close enough."
Real elevation, not an approximation
Every peak, saddle, and slope on your model is generated from actual elevation data of that exact location. If the real trail climbs 400 m in the last kilometre, your model does too — at true relative scale.
Colors pulled from satellite imagery, not picked by eye
The greens, browns, and whites on a multi-color model aren't chosen because they "look nice." They're sampled from real satellite imagery of that terrain, so the tree line, rock, and snow fall exactly where they do on the mountain.
A snow algorithm, not a paintbrush
We wrote our own algorithm that decides where snow sits on a model based on slope angle and elevation — the same logic that decides where snow actually settles on a real mountain. It's computed per-surface, not "paint the top white."
Rivers and lakes at real position and real size
The water on your model isn't decorative. Every river and lake is mapped from its real coordinates and sized proportionally to the trail, because a route through a valley isn't complete without the river that carved it.
Multi-color is printed, not added afterward
Every color on the model comes out of the printer as part of the print itself — true multi-material 3D printing, layer by layer. Nothing is painted on or added after the fact with a 3D pen, so it doesn't chip, peel, or wear off with handling.
If we're not happy with it, we print it again
Before a model ships, it gets checked against our own quality bar. If a print isn't right — a layer's off, a color didn't come out clean, anything — we reprint it. You get the model that meets our standard, not whatever came off the printer first.
